We stopped on this island on our way to Stone Town after we finished our fishing trip. I absolutely loved this little island. It's just a sandy island nothing else but it's very clean and the water is very beautiful when we arrived, there was an organized group picknicking. They brought tents and kitchen tables. We enjoyed swimming and hitting the waves. I am not sure if the island is totally covered at high tide. I highly reccommend this place to anyone who goes to Stone Town, it's only a few minutes from downtown. On our way back to Stone Town, it started raining and the wind picked up. I was relieved when I saw the shore of Stone Town.
