Our Visit to Rhode Island State

We came to Rhode Island after stopping for the night near Boston. We stopped in the beautiful capital city of Rhode Island, Providence. It was established in 1636, on of the first cities of the United States. We saw the capitol, visited some parks, we loved the beautiful Waterplace Park. There is a canal you can walk (canal Street. We had a pleasant stroll. We wished that we had more time to visit this beautiful city. It was abeautiful September day and we made our way to the beaches in our convertible car loaned by my generous cousin Jean. We stumbled into the town of Charlestown. A great sandy beach surrounded by beautiful villas on stilts. In front of the town there is an island called Block Island. We loved to lay in the sun. The water was cold but not icy. Perfect day.
