--------My Trip to Pompei (1992)
We went to Pompei in the summer of 1992. It was so hot outside. It was quite incredible to see all the ruins . Most of them were really well preserved. One of the most shocking things was to see the people who were mummified with the help of plaster. From far we could see the Vesuvius with the top missing. We wanted to climb and see the crater but apparently you had to pay extra. In Italy, I learned quickly. They charge you for everything.
